Small garage with a big heart in Great Harwood, Lancahsire.
At Nightingales Garage we’re passionate about cars! The garage is a modern workshop located at the popular site on Whalley Road next to the golf club, behind the Gulf petrol station.
With over 30 years combined experience between myself (Lorenzo) and my business partner (Sean) we have all the tools and knowledge to fix most cars and vans on the road today.
I myself carried out my apprenticeship at a Renault main dealers in Preston and I have over 10 years experience at main dealers, both in the workshop and as parts/service advisor, some good some bad. The rest of my career I have spent at independent specialist, removing engines, building engines and refitting. Finally before we decided to form Nightingales Garage Ltd I was the sole mechanic at the popular sales pitch at Nightingales. All my experience has given me all of the skills needed to run a busy garage, getting the best prices on parts for my customers and the contacts required when dealing with problems. I believe this will result in a fair honest garage for our customers. Honesty, affordability and quality of service are my three main goals!
Sean carried out his apprenticeship at an excellent independent garage and was taught how to fix vehicles not simply just replace parts. This results in savings in YOUR pocket and a much more personal service. From here he then found his passion, engine building. There is not an engine I have found yet that Sean can not build to an excellent standard. This is the foundations of our Engines Rebuild service. He then decided to join a main dealer, this enabled him to learn much more about modern vehicles and the importance of customer satisfaction. But he was not getting satisfaction himself with the dealership mentality to just remove and replace parts, resulting in higher repair bills for customers. So he moved on to an independent specialist, to build and repair engines.
This brings us to the present day, we we wanted to use our skills to offer a better, more personal customer experience. So we decided to join forces and establish our own garage
Together we also have a passion for Renault Sport vehicles and performance cars. Our knowledge of Renault Sport Clio's Megane's and Twingo's is second to non! We both have Clio Sports and have both built our own cars.
We will service your car with care, diagnose your warning lights, rebuild your engine, source a reconditioned gearbox and fit it. You can trust us to look after your car for YOU!
